A lifelong fisherman, Ken Wood has been fishing competitively since 2007, first on the local scene, then entering the national ring in 2016. Since then, he has amassed over twenty wins and nearly one hundred top ten finishes, including two trips to KBF’s TEN Championship and a KBF Regional Angler of the Year title
He is the founder of Massachusetts Kayak Bassin’, New England’s premier kayak fishing series, and co-founder of the regional kayak trail series, Elite Kayak Fishing.
As one of the most recognized and influential anglers in the region, if not the country, and a valued team member for Jackson Kayak, Three Belles Outfitters, YakAttack, Dakota Lithium Batteries, Yakrods, and Rocky Ledge Tackle, there’s no wonder he is referred to as the godfather of New England kayak fishing!
